Hello Miami! It's officially March and there are many things coming up that suit all age groups. First off I would like to say that without technology I probably wouldn't have known about these upcoming events. I have heard about these through E-mails, text messages, and even radio. Now you can have the knowledge of all things Miami at your fingertips including this blog!

The events I have listed occur annually every March. These are some of my favorites:

1) The Miami International Film Festival- This film festival presents films from over 50 different countries. This event is often held at the Cosford Cinema at the University of Miami, The Tower Theater in Little Havana, and the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts.

2) Calle Ocho- Otherwise known as Eighth Street, this is a huge event in Miami because it celebrates Hispanic culture. Music, food, and culture fill eighth street for as far as 23 city blocks. It is held between 4th Avenue and 27th Avenue on eighth street.

3) The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Inc.- This is one of my favorite events held in Miami every year right next to Florida International University. Rides, entertainment, food, and games are just a few things offered at the fair. It starts March 17th all the way through April 3rd. What I like about this particular event are the different options offered to people of all ages. There are rides for kids all the way up to adults.

I'm posting a few links to websites that will offer you more information.
